Adoption Statement
In accordance with Regulation 24 (4) and Regulation 36 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004, this statement gives notice that Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council’s "Developer Contributions" Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) was formally adopted on 28th November 2006.
The adopted SPD and supporting documents:-
- Key Decision Report signed by Executive Member Councillor A Whitehead
- Developer Contributions SPD Policy Document
- Technical Appendices to SPD
- Consultation Statement
- Sustainability Statement
will be available for public inspection from 4th December 2006 at the following locations and times:

The adopted SPD and supporting documents are also available to view and download on the Council’s website - www.tameside.gov.uk/planning/ldf/spd/developercontributions or they can be obtained (for a printing charge) by telephoning 0161 342 3103.
Any person aggrieved by the SPD may apply to the High Court for permission to apply for judicial review of the Council’s decision to adopt the SPD. Any such challenge must be made on the grounds that the SPD is not within the appropriate power or a procedural requirement has not been complied with. Applications must be made promptly and in any event not later than three months after the day on which the SPD was adopted.
