Tameside in Bloom is calling all gardening enthusiasts to take part in the Tameside Horticultural Show, but you don’t have to have green fingers to take part!
There are classes for vegetables and a wide variety of flowers as well as photography, art, handicrafts and bakery. There are specific classes for children, although they are free to enter any of the general classes.
The Show is free to enter and free to visit and will take place over the 4 and 5 September 2010 at Stalybridge Civic Hall, Trinity Street, Stalybridge.
The deadline for entries is 3pm, Thursday 2 September.

The Show will be open to the public from 2.30pm on Saturday 4 September and from 10am on Sunday 5 September. The prizes for the best exhibits will be awarded by the Civic Mayor at 2pm on Sunday 5 September.
Come along and see the magnificent marrows, the spectacular Victoria sponges and the fantastic photographs.
