More information on TASCA
TASCA is a parent run support group for families with children (0-16yrs) living in the Tameside and Glossop area with autism, communication & social difficulties.
The group was originally set up in January 2001 primarily to meet the need for somewhere for parent’s and carer’s to turn should they require information, or simply have a chat with other families in a similar situation.
A carer could be an brother, sister, auntie ,uncle, grandma, grandad, or anyone over the age of 21.
TASCA's parents & carers meets at rose hill children’s centre once a month for a chat over a cuppa, with professionals from different sectors of the health service & Tameside Council attending throughout the year giving help, advice & information parents & carers may seek.
Available at the coffee morning is TASCA’s lending library where parents & carers are able to borrow books & DVDs on a wide range of aspects of autism & social communication difficulties.
