How do I report a road that has been damaged?
Please use our Streetscene system. An Officer will visit the site location and make an assessment. If we were aware of site work we may have a 'contribution' agreement with the contractors. This is where the contractor pays so much money towards repairing any damages occurred during works.
How do I report a manhole cover that is loose and noisy?
Please use our Streetscene system. If the owner is known we will report this to the relevant statutory undertaker. If not, an Officer will visit the location and make an assessment on what work is required and the statutory undertaker will be contacted.
How do I report traffic signal failures, faults and repairs?
If you would like to report a traffic signal fault or failure please use our Streetscene system. Alternatively you can ring 0161 342 8355. All reports are recorded on a fault management database and are passed to our maintenance contractor. Urgent faults should be attended to within 3 hours. Non-urgent faults will be dealt with within 24 hours. All reports should be cleared within 36 hours, except where damage requires third party involvement.
