Annual Health Check

(5th June 2007)

The Healthcare Commission, as part of the Annual Health Check, has created a new approach to assessing and reporting on the performance of healthcare organisations. As part of this process, the local overview and scrutiny committees or panels are given an opportunity to comment directly on the performance of the local NHS Trusts against 24 core standards.
