The members of the scrutiny panel are interviewing the Cabinet Deputy, Environmental Services and the Head of Environmental Operations on the operation of the Council's cemeteries and crematorium. This is towards the end of this review that has seen Members visiting cemeteries and crematoria in Tameside and in neighbouring authorities.

Once the review is completed, a report will be presented to Council and the Cabinet Deputy will respond, detailing how the service will deal with the recommendations. The report and executive response will be published in full on the Council's web site.
