Tameside Slipper

The Tameside Slipper is a brilliant innovation - for the council and for Tamesiders. It embodies everything what we as a council are trying to achieve - better value and greater safety for our residents.

There are 28,000 street lights in Tameside and we should replace around 700 of those every year. The Tameside Slipper means we can do all the work we need to and it provides us with additional revenue to carry out more repairs or replacements.
