Adult Services has an obligation to provide meaningful information to the public about its services. To ensure that this is carried out there is a Public Information Strategy that sets down the aims and objectives.
We give you the choice of how you want information about Adult Services:

If you are thinking about a service for yourself or a relative and would just like to know what is available there is a comprehensive range of information on our Adult Services web pages.
If you are an older person looking for activities or a social group in your area take a look at the Older People web pages.
Leaflets:
We have a range of leaflets covering all our services. If you would like to order any please use our online order form or you may like to visit our information points around Tameside in accessible places such as:
- Libraries
- GP Surgeries
- Community Buildings
- Swimming Pools
All Information Points hold general information leaflets about Adult Services.
Formats:
In order to meet the information needs of the community we can produce information in a range of formats such as:

- Braille
- Audio CD
- Audio Tape
- CD Rom
