Coach Association
Tameside Coach and Instructor Association
Tameside Sports Services launched their independent coach and instructor association in January 2009. This is a popular and unique association with over 195 members joining in the first six months.
The association consists of coaches and instructors of all abilities who are involved in the coaching of sport or leisure to players and individuals of all levels, ages and gender.
Anyone can join the association and it is not restricted to coaches with certain standard qualifications. To become a member please complete an application form 45.02 KB

As a member your details will be stored on our Coach Association database and you will be contacted regularly about future exciting opportunities.
Aims and objectives of the Association
- To disseminate information about coaching / instructing opportunities in the area.
- Inspire and encourage local people to coach / instruct
- To raise the standard of coaching / instructing at all levels in the borough.
- To recognise and reward good practice.
- Represent the interests and views of coaches, instructors and teachers.
- Promote the activity of coaching and instructing.
