Checklist for Applicants

Have You Done All You Need To Do?

Please ensure that you have:

• Read the Starting Out booklet
• Listed your schools in preference order on your application form
• Included the name(s) of any siblings who will still be attending any of your preferred schools from September 2010
• Included details of any special circumstances with any supporting documents
• Included your proof of address documents
• Submitted additional information required by any of your preferred schools
• Signed and dated the form
• Completed the form fully or submitted the Online Application Form by 3.00pm on Friday 4th December 2009
• Received a receipt for your application from your child’s Tameside primary school/School Admissions Team
• Do not ask your child’s nursery or foundation unit staff to write a letter of support for an application to a particular school, as these will be disregarded.
