The audit of the accounts for the year ended 31st March 2006, of Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council have been concluded by the auditors PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

The Statement of Accounts for 2005/2006 1.7 MB , containing a copy of the auditor's certificate, will be open for inspection by any local government elector for the area of Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council from Thursday 2nd November 2006, until Wednesday 29th November 2006, at the Council Offices, Wellington Road, Ashton-under-Lyne between the hours of 8.30am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday and any such local government elector may take a copy thereof or extracts there from without payment.

Application should be made initially to the Borough Treasurer's Office, Council Offices, Wellington Road, Ashton-under-Lyne , OL6 6DL. Tel: 0161 342 3862.

Copies of the Council's Statement of Accounts will be despatched to any such local elector for the payment of £5.00 per copy.
