Are you sorted for summer?

Have you got lots planned over the summer holidays?

If the summer months of July and August don’t live up to forecasters predictions, then rest assured Tameside will put some sunshine into your life with all the events and activities on offer in the borough!

Tameside’s Youth Service and partners have teamed up to offer a varied range of activities for young people, including some rather unusual ones!

There’s cheerleading and boogie boarding, photography and off-road motorcycling - you can even build your own bike and brush up on your bush craft skills.

There’s also a range of sports clubs and courses on offer, so you could learn some new skills and try your hand at tri-golf, rugby, athletics and cricket.

For younger members of the family there’s a range of activities in our libraries, and museums. There’s Dolls, Goats and Dippy Dinosaurs on offer at Portland Basin, and on those days when the sun is shining why not get out and explore our parks and open spaces.

There really is something for all the family this holiday from countryside walks, to concerts, live music, reading and poetry, so come and join us and get your summer sorted!
