Who Can Apply?
- Not-for-profit organisations
- Local community and voluntary groups including new groups
- Branches of national organisations
- Applicants must have constitution or a set of rules
- Applicants must have a bank or building society account, in the name of the group with at least two signatories
How Much Can You Apply For?
Between £500 and £5,000.
What Does the Grant Consist Of?
- A community play examining immigration and raising awareness of local cultural heritage
- Publicity material for a group that recycles furniture to benefit people on low incomes
- A project to develop creative writing skills among people with multiple sclerosis and their carers
- Mobile crèche facility for parents in a rural community
- Safe play facilities and structured sports activities with qualified coaches to help reduce vandalism and crime among young people on an urban estate
- A school that wants to create a wildlife garden
These are examples of what the money could be spent on however this is not an exhaustive list.
