Vault and Select
Vault and Select
Vault is one of three online software modules developed by BIP collectively called the Delta Suite
The Council initially places adverts in OJEC, on the Council Web Pages and elsewhere using the Project module.
The advertisement will request that suppliers register their interest in receiving tender documents by supplying specific company details including name of contacts using the Select module. A specific Select pin is given in the advertisement for Select registration. This registration is carried out online and suppliers once approved will receive a user name and password to allow them to login to the Select service. Suppliers may add their company profile to the Select Buyers List using the pin.
The Buyer opens a Tender box within the Vault module. The specific Select list is linked electronically to the Vault module, which ensures registered Suppliers that have expressed an interest will on a scheduled dispatch date and time, are notified automatically inviting them to collect ITT documents. They will download a secure digital certificate for access to the Tender box before collecting the tender documents.
Suppliers can download documents, complete and submit electronically as many times as they wish up to the closing time and date for receipt of tenders.
After the deadline the Tender box is closed and the relevant officers can download the tender responses.
In addition to responding to a pin specific advertisement suppliers can register on the main Select list with a company profile. Buyers can download suppliers from the main list to any of their lists, this ensures that by entering your profile on Select it is accessible by all Buyer users, though not to other Suppliers. Inclusion on buyers select lists from the general list is not automatic but is at the discretion of the buyer, dependant on the suitability of your profile.
