Theatre Arts in Tameside

Tameside is a hive of activity when it comes to theatre arts, with a range of well established theatrical societies, drama groups and children’s theatre, providing a broad selection of high quality theatre arts throughout Tameside.

The Theatre Arts Officer post has the express remit of supporting the development of Theatre Arts within Tameside. Enquiries for support and assistance are welcomed from not for profit community groups and charitable organisations, with projects that are arts focused within the Borough.

A range of support is available from networking with other groups and the wider community, assistance with grant applications, identification of funding streams. Involvement in key community events, technical, marketing and developmental plans are just part of what is available.
