Thank you for taking the time to look through our Adult Learning prospectus. I hope you will find something suitable for you from the wide range of opportunities we have available.

So why would you choose to learn with us? We offer you a friendly atmosphere with lots of people like you who may be learning for the first time since they left school, or just wanting to brush up on their skills. You can learn with us at lots of different places around the borough and there are always friendly and experienced staff on hand to help and guide you.

If you are not sure what you want to learn about or are a bit confused what level to start at, don't let that put you off. Contact our Student Support Service on 0161 343 8899 and they will offer you detailed information and advice about all our courses.

Our Aim

The aim of Tameside Council Adult Learning is to provide quality further education and training for the adult population of Tameside who may experience barriers in accessing education, training and employment through economic disadvantage or special educational needs, that meets their educational needs, through a multi-agency approach, in a variety of locations and settings.
