A confidential answerphone you can use to pass any information or rumours. We need to know the criminals name, we don't need to know yours.
Call into any Police Station:
Call into any Police Station and speak to an officer on duty who will take down details of the crime.
If the incident occurred in Manchester City Centre you can benefit from confidential police surgeries which are held every Thursday evening (between 1800hrs and 2000hrs) at the Manhattan Showbar, Princess Street, in Manchester's Lesbian and Gay Village
Report via another Agency:
If you do not want to have contact with a uniformed Police Officer you can report a Hate Crime at a place you may be familiar with. The police are setting up lots of local agencies as reporting centres for Hate Crimes, such places as as Housing Offices, Health Centres and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual Organisations. A member of staff will complete the necessary paperwork and forward it to the Racist & Hate Crime Unit at Police Headquarters for allocation to a local investigating officer
