How does the service work?
We will visit you at home to discuss your needs and help you find the right solution.
If Anchor Staying Put is the answer, we will help you decide exactly what work should be done and arrange for drawings and specifications. We will obtain estimates from reliable contractors and oversee the whole job. As well as the technical side we will also help you deal with any disruption during the work or unexpected snags that can arise once work is completed.
If Anchor Staying Put is not the answer for you we will try our best to put you in touch with the right people for what you need.
How do I pay for the cost of work?
Anchor Staying Put will be happy to provide information on the different options available to pay for the work. In some instances you may qualify for financial assistance and we will take this into account when discussing the options with you.
How much do I pay Anchor?
Our advisory service is free. If you decide to carry out work with our help, a small fee may be charged for the technical services provided but you will be advised of this at this at an early stage and the amount will be confirmed to you in writing before work starts.
All other advice and support offered by Anchor Staying Put is free.
Will I need to move out while the work is being done?
If there is major structural work to be done such as removing floors, it may be necessary for you to move out of your house while the work is carried out. If so, Anchor Staying Put may be able to help you find somewhere to move to temporarily and help you to organise the removals there and back.
Happy Living for the years ahead.
