Opening soon, the Ridge Hill Children's Centre will provide a new and modern venue for training courses on the Ridge Hill estate, as well as impressive new facilities from the children's centre. As soon as the centre has been opened, information on training courses and events will be added to this profile and the latest news section of 
this website.
In terms of training in the near future, the Ridge Hill Children's Centre is hoping to offer:
- An IT Course.
- Courses in Financial Literacy (How to manage your money!), Administration and Childcare level 1 and 2.
- Nutritional advice for families through a cook and eat course.
Once the new centre has been opened, it is likely that all courses requiring crèche facilities will run from the centre. Programmes being run by the Children's Centre (see further information section) are currently using the Baptist Church and the Ridge Hill Family Centre to host crèche facilities from.

Further Information
The new Ridge Hill Children's Centre will include two multi purpose rooms, in which training can occur, each with a capacity of approximately 20 people. These two rooms can though be opened out into one for larger events, courses and meetings. These multi purpose rooms also have presentation equipment.
The new centre will also house a community kitchen area, from which small courses could run in the future. As well as this there will be smaller interview rooms and crèche facilities.
Current provision from the Ridge Hill Children's Centre is generally running from the Baptist and St Georges Church.
St Georges Church hosts time for a rhyme sessions, as well as various half term activities.
The well baby clinic currently runs from the Baptist Church on Ridge Hill, as well as the parent and toddler group. These are examples of various activities run by the Children's Centre for parents and their children on the Ridge Hill estate. Other venues used on occasion are the Ridge Hill School and the Keyhole Centre.
