The Yew Tree Centre is based on Circular Road, which can be reached from Stockport Road via Town Lane.

The centre has recently undergone extensive refurbishment and was officially opened to the public on Wednesday 22nd August 2007. New courses and activities will be running from the centre in the near future and details will be added to this profile as they become available. These courses will also be posted on the latest news section of this website as soon as information becomes available. For further information on what will be going on in this area contact your local community-learning champion on the number above.

The centre consists of a large multi-purpose main room, with chairs and tables available for use for courses and activities. There is also an Internet café room, which Picture of the Yew Tree Centrecan also be used for meetings and small classes. There are six computers in the Internet café, all of which can be used for courses. Laptops can also be set up in the main hall, as computer points have been built in.

At the front of the building there is a reception and office space, from which the administrative functions of the centre are completed. The centre also houses a kitchen area with a microwave, oven, hob and worktop space.
