The council only carries out work on council owned trees or via contracts with schools, housing trusts or the Highways Agency. We do not work on private property so Yellow Pages or local newspapers for contractors. We would advise you to obtain tenders and ask if the contractor is and Approved Contractor of the Arboricultural Association or The International Society of Arboriculture. It is reasonable to assume that unsolicited callers require careful consideration.
