What Is Tameside TV?
The council’s own film unit Tameside TV is part of ICT and Transformational Services.
Initially focused on the use of ICT in Schools, this project aimed to produce and broadcast training and information footage to schools and individuals via video streaming. However, the power of the medium and the high quality of the work produced has led to interest from across the council.
The videos are split up into three categories:
Tameside TV offers full 'in house’ production and post production facilities in filming, editing, and graphic design. This means the unit can provide broadcast quality programmes and DVD’s at a very competitive price.
Tameside TV’s broadcast standard productions are used across the council, schools and colleges. It’s been widely used for promoting council services, supporting bids for awards, funding and training.
