David Heyes MP: I’m very proud to be able to pull this chord and I think officially open the new facility here at the pool.

Colin Fielding: It’s been a great day for Ashton Sports Centre. We’ve just invested 1.4 million pounds in the centre. We’ve converted the squash courts into a fitness suite, new dance studio, new sauna, brand new steam room, fantastic changing rooms; a massive, massive improvement. The monthly fees still at only £32.00 per month which is way cheaper than most of the private sector, so we’ve got private sector facilities at cheaper rates.
