The Regiment, preceded by the Regimental Band, started their parade from the Parish Church of St. Michael and All Angels before marching through Ashton Town Centre towards the Market Ground, finishing in front of Ashton Town Hall. The Civic Mayor of Tameside, Councillor Michael Smith, was waiting on the Town Hall steps to greet the parade alongside the Colonel of the Regiment.
