Sharon Drysdale - Curriculum Deliverer, Art and Design
I am the curriculum deliverer so I teach the students art and design. And the courses are ASET which is a one year course and WJEC which is a two year course with an exam.
The students that come here have all got learning disabilities of varying degrees and they're all 19 upwards to any age.
It helps them develop confidence and also to meet other students and come and meet friends for some of them.
Sharon - Art Student
I did that with the colour pencils, with the wrong colours! I really like the water colour paintings, I enjoy concentrating and focusing on what I'm doing.
Kerry - Art Student
At the moment I really like doing things on canvas, drawing things on canvas and painting things on canvas using the acrylic paints or gouache paints. The other things I've been doing in my art class with Sharon has been still life which I quite like doing.
The other things I like doing are landscapes, building different colours, shading different colours in the landscapes and that.
