I’m Colin Fielding, Chairman of the Sports Trust. I would like to welcome Madam Deputy Mayor and Councillor Quinn, Executive Leader of the Council Roy Oldham, Project Head of Sports Councillor David Sweeton and Elected Ward Councillors.

Councillors, ladies and gentlemen, Chair, it’s another project completed by the Sports Trust. Seven million pounds have been spent now on three pools. So Deputy Madam Mayor I take great delight in drawing those curtains down and officially declaring this facility well and truly open.
