Every year Corrie Primary school hosts a Stars in their Eyes event where the pupils perform in front of parents and family.
The event was hosted by teachers Simon Harthill and Simon Griffin and was a big success as always.

"I feel very privileged standing here tonight because under normal circumstances it would be Mrs Marland. But she cant be with us tonight because she's in Shanghai looking at how they teach maths and numeracy, and hopefully she'll be bringing good ideas back.
Mrs Marland will be able to visit Tameside's website and show the event to the staff and children of a school in Shanghai on the other side of the world."
The show also featured a guest performance from last years' winner, Sam as Michael Jackson

3rd place - Amy
