“Well then boys and girls we will switch the lights on but before we do, what we need to do is bring on someone very important to join us up here. So please welcome the Civic Mayor of Tameside Councillor John Sullivan (cheering). Come on let’s hear it for Councillor John Sullivan.”

“Is he coming in on a wire?”

“Here he comes ladies and gentlemen”

“Big round of applause everybody”
