Alt, Fairbottom and Park Bridge War Memorial

At Park Bridge, in front of the former school which is close to the visitor centre.

Description:

An ornamental stone cross about 12ft high, standing on a plinth and, in turn, on a base.

There are three small tablets on the plinth, with a further, smaller, one added in memory of the Second World War. The central tablet bears the inscription: "In Memory of the men of Alt, Fairbottom and Park Bridge who gave their lives for the freedom and honour of their country in the Great War 1914-1918."
