Our libraries offer so much more than books, they provide a warm, safe and welcoming space for everyone. These warm spaces are open to everyone. You're welcome to drop in during opening times and browse the internet, find a good book, read the daily newspaper or just have a hot drink. We have 8 welcoming libraries

· It is free to join the library
· Library members can use the internet free of charge for up to one hour per day
· Free Wi-Fi is available in all Tameside Libraries
· eBooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers can be downloaded from our website free of charge
· Libraries have regular clubs such as Reading Friends, Library Lively clubs or Reader’s Groups
