RESIDENTS of Tameside and Glossop are being asked to share their views on health and social care in the area as part of ’What Matters to You Day’.

This is a national NHS event aimed at encouraging and supporting more meaningful conversations between people who provide health and social care and the people, families and carers who receive health and social care.

The What Matters to You survey opens on Wednesday 9 June and Tameside and Glossop CCG and Tameside Council are looking to hear the opinions of people from across the area.

The survey will run for four weeks until 7 July when responses will be collated and analysed.

Dr Asad Ali, joint chair of Tameside and Glossop Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “This is a vital opportunity for you to have your say on health and social care in Tameside and Glossop. We want to find out what matters to you, so we can listen to you and do what matters for you.

“There might be things important to you at the moment you could share or something you’re aiming to achieve through health and social care support.”

Cllr Eleanor Wills, Tameside Council executive member for Adult Social Care and Population Health, said: “I encourage all residents to share their views on health and social care by taking part in this survey. All your responses will help us to deliver services with patients in the front and centre of everything we do.

Any Tameside and Glossop residents who want to share their views on health and social care in the area and complete the survey should visit https://www.tameside.gov.uk/wmty2021.
