Tameside Stands with Ukraine

The Ukrainian flag is flying at Dukinfield Town Hall as statement of solidarity and unity with the people of Ukraine.

We want to provide support and advice for those arriving in Tameside from Ukraine.

We also aim to provide you with information on how you can support Ukraine through this tragedy. There is also information on Government support and schemes providing refuge in the UK for Ukrainians. 

An Interfaith Peace Vigil for an end to the war in Ukraine was held at St Peter’s Church in Ashton-Under-Lyne on March 19. The vigil was led by Reverend A. Daniel Ramble. This was an opportunity for our communities to come together and show solidarity and support for Ukraine.
