Introduction

The Tameside Training Consortium (TTC) was formed in 2001 and is an Employer Led Partnership – it is an association of organisations that work together to:

  • Co-ordinate & access good quality training – enabling members to comply with contractual frameworks and legislation, supporting a good quality experience by service users.
  • Represent employers’ professional development needs
  • Creating opportunities to meet those needs
  • Maintaining links with similar councils and organisations across the North West region to share good practice and access any appropriate workforce development funding to the benefit of the sector

The Consortium activities are co-ordinated by a steering group that represent the member organisations. The steering group meet quarterly to oversee the activities and review progress.
