The car park is smooth tarmac with a gradient of 1:12. There is one dedicated parking space for badge holders. A paved ramp gives access to the centre which is on one level and is fully accessible.

Inside there are seasonal displays and exhibitions, leaflets, publications and souvenirs.

Light refreshments are available at the nearby tearooms at the garden centre. The centre is open Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays throughout the year. Please ring for seasonal opening times.

Outside there is a maze, a willow dome and a collection of different habitats including pond, herb garden and meadows. It is all linked by a generally level grass path.

Access to the adjoining areas is on level, stone surfaced paths. there is a fully accessible toilet in the visitor centre (available during opening hours).
