Tameside Countryside - Visitor Centres

The visitor centre and toilets at Werneth Low are currently closed.  When we are able to reopen the Centre we will update the website.  The Hyde War Memorial Trust also have information on their facebook page.

Lymefield visitor centre is now leased by Lymefield Outdoor Learning Centre. For more information, please call Operations and Greenspace on 0161 342 2270 or email greenspace@tameside.gov.uk

Visitor Centres Opening Times

 

Park Bridge

  • The information room and toilets will be open the same hours as the tearoom and also may be open on other weekdays.
  • The heritage centre can be opened by appointment.

Lower Higham (Werneth Low)

  • Tuesday 1pm - 4pm
  • Saturday and Sunday 1pm - 4pm
  • Bank Holidays 1pm - 4pm
