The Tameside (Electoral Changes) Order 2022, to implement recommendations made by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) for new electoral arrangements in Tameside, was made on 17 June 2022.

New ward arrangements for Tameside have now successfully completed a 40 day period of Parliamentary scrutiny and will come into force at the local elections on 4 May 2023.

The Boundary Review may have resulted in a change in Ward for some electors, and your polling station may be set to change for the May 2023 Elections.

We have now concluded our review into Polling Districts and Polling Places within the new Ward Boundaries, due to come into effect for the Elections in May 2023. Please check your poll card carefully in March to see if there have been any changes.
