Do you need advice about your options after school or college?
Our experienced, qualified and friendly Careers Advisers can support you, whether you want to be in education, employment or other training opportunities such as an apprenticeship.
If you’re not sure what you want, we can discuss the options available.

How we help you
We can:

- Show you different job and study options
- Help you make a plan for your future
- Support you to reach your goals step by step
If you are aged 13–16
- You should get careers advice at school. If you would like to talk to someone during the school holidays or get extra help, you can book an appointment with our team
- We help you choose GCSE options (Year 9)
- We help you plan for after Year 11
- We talk about:
- College
- Apprenticeships
- Jobs
- We can help with:
- Writing a CV
- Applications
If you are home educated
- You can still get careers advice
- You can visit colleges in Year 10
- In Year 11, we will offer you a meeting to talk about your next steps
Applying to college?
- Applications usually open in September of Year 11
- Most are online
- You should:
- Look at college websites
- Go to open days
- Check deadlines
If your plan changes after 16
- It’s okay to change your mind!
- We will keep supporting you in Years 12 and 13
