What is a garden plot/site?
A garden plot or site is a piece of vacant land adjacent or close to your property which you would like to occupy for garden purposes and you believe is owned by Tameside MBC.
How much does it cost?
The minimum licence fee is £50 per annum, but depends on the size of garden plot taken.
The licence fee is payable annually in advance.
All new lettings are subject to a one-off administration fee of £75 + VAT
How do I make a payment?
When payment is due, you will receive an invoice from us. You can make an on-line credit card payment (select "General Debtors" for the Type of Payment and type your invoice number in the box asking for your "Customer Reference Number"), or you can post a cheque to us to the address stated on the Invoice.
How do I rent a garden plot/site?
Please print out and complete the attached garden plot enquiry form You should return this form to us, at the address stated, together with a sketch plan which clearly identifies the chosen plot including, where possible, approximate measurements.
How do I transfer my existing tenancy?
Please complete the on-line transfer/termination form is you wish to transfer your existing garden tenancy.
How do I terminate my existing tenancy?
Please complete the on-line transfer/termination form if you wish to terminate your existing garden tenancy.
