As part of Hate Crime Awareness Week 2016 the following received grant funding from the Police & Crime Commissioner to deliver projects in the community
Hyde Bangladeshi Welfare Women’s Group Hyde
Delivered a hate crime presentation to Asian Women in Hyde and filmed interviews with them

Polish residents met and produced the Hate Crime leaflet in Polish for their Facebook website and local shops in Tameside. They also produced a video called Names Day which promotes their culture and diversity

A Disability group who meet weekly participated & created in a hate crime digital media art project
Rough Diamonds
A residents group from Ashton Pioneer Homes produced a poster and banner to be displayed for their residents and held an open day event
Digital Music Media
Tameside Youth Service Youth Group held a media session on Saturday where young people developed lyric writing and songs and made a piece of music
LGTB Out Loud
The group meet weekly at the Anthony Seddon Fund they did an art project to decorate the walls of their room
Haughton Green Young People’s Centre Denton
Meet weekly developed a project around difference and accepting different cultures
Prime Active Communities produced a hate crime awareness video
A group of young people in Droylsden learning about Hate Crime through creative writing, camera and production skills
Medlock Disability Group Droylsden
The group meet each week and held an art and crafts and disability sports session to learn about hate crime and Safe Spaces reporting
