As part of our mission to find and keep the very best, our Social Work Academy is working to provide the support, knowledge and skills needed for social workers wishing to progress into leadership. As a social worker looking to progress, you can access the following:

• Aspiring Leaders programme - The Aspiring Leaders Programme is for those with the potential, passion and ambition to lead others.
• STRIVE Leadership programme - The STRIVE Leadership & Management Development Programme has been assured by Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), therefore those who successfully complete all components will also receive a formal certificate from City & Guilds.
• The Career Development Scheme - Support, time and financial aid to develop skills and knowledge as well as additional qualifications.
• Short courses and eLearning - There is a range of in-person and eLearning opportunities, many specifically for leaders.
• Coaching - Qualified coaches that can help you explore your potential and build your confidence.
