Make, Do and Play
Join us at Portland Basin Museum for a series of creative, family‑friendly craft sessions - perfect for little ones with big imaginations! All session are drop-in between 11am-3pm, they are led by an artist and cost £1.40 per child.
Tuesday 26 May - Make Your Own Mini Tulip
Inspired by the beautiful Tulips Trail across Tameside, children can design and take home their own mini tulip to brighten up the window.
A playful collage activity where kids can dream up a wild new Ashton - think krakens in the canal and dinosaurs at IKEA!
Create colourful paper bird puppets and bring your feathery characters to life.
Thursday 4 June - Draw Along
Drop in for step‑by‑step drawing sessions. A new animal every 15 minutes -stay for one or stay for more.
