Applications Currently Under Consultation

Copies of these applications are kept by the Licensing Department, Tame Street Depot, Tame Street, Stalybridge, SK15 1ST. The applications can be viewed by appointment only by contacting the Licensing office on 0161 342 4262.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for making a false statement is a Level 5 fine on the standard scale

If you wish to make a representation in relation to any of these applications, you must do so in writing, and your representation must be received at the Licensing Office before the end of the last day of the consultation period as detailed above.

Your representation must include your name, address, contact telephone number and an email address if available.

Please note your representation and details will be passed on to the applicant who may contact you to discuss this further.

A representation must relate to one or more of the four licensing objectives;

1. The prevention of crime and disorder

2. Public safety

3. The prevention of public nuisance

4. The protection of children from harm

If your representation does not directly relate to at least one of these licensing objectives, it will be rejected.

Your representation will also be rejected if it is deemed to be frivolous, vexatious or repetitious.
