Museums and some other services in Tameside are being temporarily delivered differently in response to the situation with Covid-19 (Coronavirus).

As Tameside Council takes steps to protect the community and redeploy its workforce and resources to deliver essential services, museums and galleries and some other public facings buildings will remain closed and services will instead be delivered in alternative ways. The changes will take effect from midnight Wednesday 18 March 2020.

We will be working behind the scenes to ensure our museum collections are both secure and safe for the duration of our closure.
