Pupil Support Service

Local Offer Diagram

Schools have the opportunity to consult and refer in to the Pupil Support Service.
A Multi-agency panel meeting takes place on a half termly basis to consider each referral and assign the most appropriate support. The panel consists of members from each service and in addition the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Department, the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), the Speech and Language Team (SALT), the Early Help Team, the Early Years Development Team and the lead Psychologist.

Prior to the referral, schools are encouraged to consult with the most relevant team. At this point, advice and guidance is offered. This should lead to the most appropriate and earliest intervention.
