Local Offer to Care Leavers

The process of leaving care and transitioning into adult life can be a challenging time for our looked after young people.

The purpose of this Local Offer to Care Leavers is to act as a directory for all the available services for our care leavers that they are legally entitled to.

Since the Children and Social Work Act 2017 was introduced, all local authorities have been required to consult on, produce and share a local offer for care leavers.

This guide has been developed alongside local care leavers, who gave their opinions on the contents and design of the document.
