Ashton
Ashton-under-Lyne is a sub-regional centre in Greater Manchester and is therefore well sign posted.
Leave the M60 motorway at Junction 23, and follow signs for Ashton-under-Lyne.
These will take you along a dual carriageway (Park Parade A635) and past a new modern building on the left. At the next set of traffic light take the left hand turning.
Taking the first left will then take you to the side of Lidl, at the traffic lights turn right on to Old Street head up Old Street, past the Ladysmith Shopping Centre the road narrows and then follow the road round onto Warrington Street where the outdoor and indoor markets are.
There are half hourly trains from Manchester City Centre and a new Metrolink route from Manchester which runs every 12 minutes at peak times.
Ashton has a very large bus station just five minutes walk from the outdoor and indoor markets, with buses coming in to the town from Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale and Stockport.

Leave the M67 at the Hyde exit and follow the signs for the Town Centre. Town Centre car parks and the Market are well signposted.
