2016/2017
The statutory regulations require the Council to publish only claims made by Councillors for expenses (as set out in the Member Allowances and Expenses 2016/2017 ). However, in line with a Council decision of the 24 November 2009, in the interest of transparency it was agreed by all elected members that any travel, subsistence and accommodation costs incurred directly by Elected Members at the behest of Tameside Council to undertake their duties and paid directly by the Council would also be published.
