Care Leavers Connectivity Programme – Digital support is available for 18-25 year olds leaving care to help with digital connectivity, improving digital skills and access to a digital device (dependant on stock). Care leavers who would like digital support, please contact your PA who can apply for the scheme with you here.

Databank - Offer free SIM cards to people who do not have digital access, data is available for up to 12 months.
 
Criteria:
Over 18 years old
From a low income household
 
You must also meet at least one of the following:-
Have no access or insufficient access to the internet at home
Have no or insufficient access to the internet away from the home
Cannot afford their existing monthly contract or top up
All Tameside Libraries are databank points, to request a free SIM card please call into your local library, email Information.direct@tameside.gov.uk or call 0161 342 2031.

GMCA Digital Fund = Support available to help you into employment through different digital projects.

North Coders = 13 week programme open to anyone aged 19 and over who are either in work, self-employed, recently unemployed or returning to work after a break.

Generation = Gives you the skills you need and connects you with employers to find a job fast. Courses available in Data Engineering, Customer Support and Data Analytics.
