The Great British Spring Clean

Cleaner Tameside

Join in on the nations Great British Spring to help tidy up our neighbourhoods!

The Great British Spring Clean will take place from 15 - 31 March. You can get involved and pledge to pick up a bag of litter – or more! Pledging to take part couldn’t be easier, simply pledge as an individual, a group or a school and let us know how many bags you pledge to pick up. A little effort can go a long way, the environment is everyone’s responsibility!

Get involved and join in on the national activity to keep the boroughs clean and tidy.

Community come together with officers and councillors in a day of action to tackle in Mossley.

Litter Hubs:

To make it easier for you to keep your pledge, we have established free Litter Hubs which are based in local community spaces across our towns. Individuals or groups can book free equipment via a local hub, including hi-vis jackets, litter pickers and black bags. We will then arrange for your rubbish to be disposed of appropriately. There are currently 14 hubs but more will be added as they become available, just drop in or use the contact details provided below to book equipment.
