| GM Good Employment Charter | Greater Manchester Combined Authority |
Launched in July 2019, the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter is a membership and assessment scheme aimed at elevating employment standards across all sectors and geographies of Greater Manchester. Since its launch the Charter has engaged with thousands of employers across the city region and has driven up employment standards for tens of thousands of workers. Many of the provisions of the Employment Rights Act 2025 mirror the requirements of Charter Membership and as a result it is now proposed to develop the Charter so that it continues to lead this agenda and set new standards for good employment beyond the basic legal requirements. This consultation seeks views how the Charter can set standards for Good Employment Culture that moves beyond the basic building blocks and recognises sustained employment excellence throughout an organisation. |

Greater Manchester Combined Authority |
Greater Manchester Combined Authority has launched a new survey asking women about their experiences as drivers, passengers, pedestrians, cyclists and public transport users.
The survey is part of the Women’s Road Safety Project which is funded through the Vision Zero Innovation Fund and is informed by the Gender-Based Violence Strategy. The project aims to build a detailed evidence base on women’s experiences of road safety in GM. Findings will help identify practical measures to improve safety, confidence and inclusion across GM’s transport system and support the region’s Vision Zero ambition to eliminate deaths and serious injuries on the roads. |

| A Vision for Greater Manchester: VCSE Sector Manifesto Drafting Consultation | Greater Manchester Combined Authority | The Greater Manchester VCSE Leadership Group are drafting a Greater Manchester VCSE Sector Manifesto to raise a collective voice to use as a tool to engage with leaders and campaign together. An event on 27th February with some of the sector was held to discuss what should be included in this manifesto.
